    Hi all

Has anyone used the ceramic atomizer (the type that looks like an air stone, for small tanks)?

I was using the normal ceramic atomizer (the boyu ones that shapes like a fish hook but i broke it recently. Thus using this new one.

    Tank Specs:

    2 ft tank
    CO2 at 1 bps

    Any difference?

I had used it before in my nano tank to kick start the growth of the plants.
Mine was a white ceramic with a "L"-shaped tube. Personally, I feel that it is good enough for smaller tank (1.5 bps or less). However, the bubbles will get too big if you try to drive it with bigger flow. Bigger bubbles have less time to dissolve optimally in a nano tank.

Wonder anybody tried using the wooden type diffuser/air-stone used in marine for dissolving CO2? It gives out very fine bubbles like the ceramic diffusor but will it work for fresh water?
