Weekend is a day to get out of the boring city. This Saturday, I joined a group of outdoor friends to hike in a trail to upper part of Sungai Sarawak Kiri.

Then this bamboo bridge is a bit challenging. If u scare of height (at least 6 meter above the water surface of the river), maybe this is the place for u to learn to overcome that fear.

There are too many rivers in Sarawak to explore & photograph....i don't think I can visit all the rivers in Sarawak.
The water is brownish because of the leached tannins from the decomposed leaves of health/Kerangas forest. (Sometimes the colour of this river became very black; so called "Blackwater")

Nepenthes xtrichocarpa; there's a recent news on this plant, whereby a mouse slipped in it's trap accidentally and being prey on.
