I have completed the re-setting up of my planted aquarium. Owing to previous experience of neglecting my first set-up, I would like to find out what kind of fertilizers should I supplement my plants with. Currently only Japanese hairgrass and in te near future spiky moss foreground.

    Pick a way:
    1) Cheap but confusing to figure out at first.
    2) Expensive but easy to dose.

For 1), most go the Estimative Index way with KNO3 and KH2PO4.
For 2), can try ADA fertilisation or Ferka fertilisation. Search the net for these commercial regimes.

In both cases, CO2 addition must be given a lot of attention because if this is flawed, nothing will be alright.

For your tank I'd pick Ferka. Aquabase as base fertiliser, Stemma as base supplements, Balance-K and Aquatilizer for daily liquid fertilisation. Strong CO2 recommended.
