Qn about the fish lighting lamp

Hi guys,

hope u all can help me with this. I received a 2.5 feet whole tank + Juwel Compact H filter FOC from my fren who hv given up the hobby.

Lighting is included with 2 lamps, 1 pink, 1 blue.

My question: can i use this 2 lamps for planted tank or do i need to buy other type of lamp like T5, PL,etc ?

So can i juz take the lamp n go to LFS n tell them to give me this lamp specification for a T5 ?

hi regarding your light i think u got to get a new one. maybe u can try buyin at NA or c328. just tell the uncle yr needs.

The pink one is not suitable. We use white.

Your set is most likely a FL or PL set. Just bring it along and show it to him, he should know.

Daylight tube to be precise. You can bring just the tube along, no need for the whole set.

can i ask, wat is PL, FL ?

So i juz bring the bulb over n tell them i want white light of the same size, will do ? Thanks bros !

If you are given a Juwel tank, please note that you prob can only buy FL lights. Unless you are not using the cover.
