i think u might have better luck asking in the selling forum then here.. start a new topic.. there are some ppl who keep kois here...furthermore, i doubt those overhead mentioned here are big enuff to handle a koi pond..

i'm using Hailea SL306 with a max flow rate of 550L/hr for my 2ft tank... so far so good.

I am using the Ehiem liberty 200 attached to Tom's surface skimmer. Just use the liberty's original pipe and connect it to an elbow pipe also in black can get from LFS then link to an extra liberty's orginal Hose (buy seperately) on the other side of the elbow pipe, which then links to the surface skimmer. just nice. the suction is very good. I set it at the lowest output rate. I do not use the orginal 3D filter pad or the green pad. I put Bio rings and Biohome into the lower part on both sides of the filer. Fill these Biohome all the way up just before the propeller's. Then on top just fill it up with SERA filter wool. Very clean. []
