I have a pair of A.agassizii. The male seems to be wanting to keep the female in the breeding cave.

Everytime, the female tries to come out, the male chases her in the cave.

Is that a sign that they are ready to breed?

My female (refer to the other thread on whether it's a female A.agassizii) is still not bright yellow in color yet. i have attached the picture in the other post for the color.

    What do you guys think?

From my previous experience, if they are in the mating mood, the female will appear yellowish. It is quite easy to detect the intensifying colour for me caused I've been studying them nearly a week. It's totally different from her normal dress colour. Behaviour wise my female will initiate by flaring against the male, and then he will chase her into retreat. This is my take.

    Cheers
