Saw some of my used DW which i recovered from previous unsuccessful planted tank. So decided to make full use of them to create a 1 footer planted tank to house my endlers and some cherries.
Arranged a few position for DW these 2 are the ones i like best. but couldn't make a decision which 1 to use. Can bros here give me some comments pls..... thanks a lot

hi! think i would vote for DW2... kind of like the space below the DW that forms a 'bridge' effect... good if you've got some plants creeping under and out...
DW1 seems to be like a big chunk of DW at centre of tank... too clustered..
Just my 2cents worth...
can consider a fissiden only tank!
maybe have a lawn of fissiden sp, driftwood with us fissiden, just my 10cent suggestion.

A pure fissiden tank. sounds great. But this tank will be just a setup from what i can get from my existing tank. so wouldn't want to buy any plants at all.
But since i got alot of slow growers in it during the initial phase of setup my greatest fear will be algae. can i just add alot of those floating frog bits maybe 1/3 of the tank surface to prevent algae out break?
arrangement 1 looks nicer to me, with fissiden on it would be even more perfect

going for arrangement 2 cause i like to have my clover growing underneath the DW looks cool. now still waiting to get ada soil then can start working on it. but most likely got to leave this project till next year cause will be out of town for 2 months soon.
