    hi everybody out there,
    have a set of the T5 ballast, but not sure how to wired it up
    any members out there a electrician. appreciate any help. thks.

    Just follow the diagram found on picture 2

    tried it, tube won't light up. tested all six points with test pen. all light up.
    but tube still won't light up. the tube is a new JBL 80W.

    You tried with one tube or two?

    saw on your pic that it is a QT FQ 2x80. So it probably need 2 tubes to be wired up first to light up. Try it.

    agreeded....that ballest need to be connected to two lighting tubes to be fire up..

    thks for all the comments. needed two tubes to get in lighted up. now installed two sets of the ballast for my six footer tank.
