Freeze-Dried bloodworm

I would like to check with the hobbyists here on their experience in feeding freeze-dried bloodworm to their fish. Any problem with water? How long does the FD bloodworm last before it turns bad once opened.

From the Hikari website, I found that their Bio-Pure FD bloodworm has high protein and vitamin contents. I want to switch my altums from frozen bloodworm to dry food for the higher protein but they have little interest in the dry food. I thought mayb they will accept FD bloodworm. Any idea which LFS carries Hikari FD bloodworm.

Maybe freeze-dried bloodworm don't taste as good as frozen bloodworm.

I have fed my small fishes with FD bloodworms. I personally think frozen has more proteins or better. Also FD bloodworm don't sink and gets crumbled into small pieces so fishes might missed them, especially if water current is strong.

I kept all my fish food in my fridge. No issue with my fishes until now.

I used them before, for my bettas. But I find them quite 'dirty' in the sense that it won't be fresh for long, perhaps my storage method is the problem? I just leave in in the bottle in room temperature.

Swtiched to micropellets and never looked back since.
