Hi Stormhawk, I should still have some trifasciatas to go around after trading. But I would prefer to wait till they are older; can differentiate females and males. Can you wait?

Let me know if you are interested, can PM me.

Try tropical Fish Farm at Pasir Ris. They have a tankful of them. I think is about 10~15 buck per pic. Conditionis good.[:]

    No problem stormhawk

Actually you will be surprise regarding the tri from H2O. This batch of juveniles i'm having, the parents are actually the from the same batch you saw in H2O. I was shocked when I saw them spawned barely after 2 weeks I bought them. I had problem sexing them initially when I saw them in the shop until Simon told me how to do it and I got myself 2 pairs.

But probably whats left now are exactly in great conditions. Wait for the next batch to come in and go grab them []

There is no bus that will get you to Tropical. Its possible to walk there by taking bus 88 to near SSMC (a big blue wafer fab plant)and walk along the left side of the canal beside it but you still need very clear directions to be able to get there after the canal and its at lest a 1/2 hr walk. quite hard to get there if you never been there. Try to get someone who had been there to drive you there

kunner, IMO, wats imprt is the fish.. I have seen and bought 3 tri from tropical for benny... and I do not like the shape (physical) looks rounder.. and for a tri of that size, even males r dun have much dorsal extension and the easiest way to ID is the size and colour.. me not promoting for H20.. but I do prefer their tri.. even at that small age/size.. IDing is easy

My trifasciatas from tropical had actually grown pretty long spikes over the weeks but what they still lack is the brillant blue the H2O tri have. I had been looking at some pics of trifasciata over the Net and I'm suspecting that the trifasciatas from the 2 places might be of different variants, that might explain the different in shapes and coloration. H2O's tri seem to resemble more of the "Gaupore" variant which is naturally more brillant blue while Tropical's are the usual variant. Apparently H2O are selling the "Gaupore" variant as another distinct group as they had 2 type of tri.

Hope that this don't offend anyone, these are just my observations.
