Total running time for eheim ecco 2236

hi all,
i have bought a eheim ecco 2236 recently. i want to know how long can i keep the filter running at a given time. i intend to run it continously.
is it possible?

Yes, you can keep it running continously. Filters are meant to run continuously. I assume you are asking about mechanical operation.

As for the filter media, you should clean them every few months or so.
