    Any guys heard of glowlight shrimp? saw it at Y932 few days back. Is it a kind of hybrid shrimp? or just plainly a new breed?

    Sounds like just another fancy name given by tradespeople, breeders or hobbyists for a particular new shrimp.

    I am not sure I understand this 'craze' for hybrid shrimps either. Or the drive to create new 'breeds'.

    But if you could provide a good photo, I am sure an interesting discussion could take place.

    to me, it's just another malayan shrimp but apart from the stretch down its "spine", the rest of its body was translucent. Never get the chance to look really close at it, had just finished with Remedial Training at Khatib Camp thus, feeling slightly tired. Any guys can offer to go down take photos for us?

    I got some shrimps .. i have no idea what they are too ... they always in the hideouts .. somemore not much of them ... will try to take photo of them .. cheers

    Actually bro Mike, think some your hybrids really look like the glowlight tetra that i had pointed out before. Unable to take pics though. It's either my Casio Exlim too weak, or its macro mode is out of my depth.
    How did you take pics of your shrimps close up? Snap and them magnify them in computers?

    Tripod .. then wait .. for the best shot :P .. last time ...
    Nowadays ... i use sony ericsson to take photos ... normal will do ...
    Normally i use the microsoft office picture manager to manipulate the pictures .. Only do the resize .. but no enlargement

    Friend ... my cherries now can grow until 3cm ... mutant .. not sure cross bred with what shrimps .. ><

    My one is nokia phone, then pic quality is really incomparable with SE. As for casio, need to figure out more...
