Checkerboard, from what I knoiw, there is a 70w mh lighting but rarely used in the aquarium arena. You'll need to search for it. I think Kingpin might be using them if I'm not wrong. Search for his thread.![]()
Hi all,
I am planning to have a 4X2X2 braceless tank. Any idea what thickness the glass should be? I imagine at least 12mm? Also, any quality tank makers to recommend?
Next: I do not want very strong lighting, yet I am quite on pendant MH. Most MH comes with 150W, which will make my tank a high light tank which may give me maintenance problems in time to come. I would actually prefer something around 200W. Is there MH at 100W?

That's great to know; 70W MH! thats not even 150W, save electricity and less heat generated. Hope the light penetration is not affected though.
Thanks BFG!

Hi,
Not sure if it's a good idea to have 4x2x2 braceless.

I have seen 4X2X2 braceless, just that the glass has to be thicker. However, I am not sure how thick though. Will go with Euro bracing in worse case scenario that it is not advisable.
