Rearing Holland Rams

My mom saw my tank and she really likes Holland Rams and she mentioned that she wants to rear that fish at home.

Just wanted to know if there's anything that I need to take note of because I ask her to 'go get it'?

I believe my mom wouldn't have any plants in her tank so there's no need for CO2, gravel, etc.

Can Holland Ram live with some of the tetras like Hi-Fins?
