I find the Paypal website to be confusing, thus I'm asking here..

Does Paypal accept POSB debit cards?

I'm itching to subscribe to the Barr Report just to see all the material in the subscriber forums. US12 bucks plus seem reasonable to me.

Yes, paypal accepts all credit and debit card. All savings and current account does not work though.

3 Major cards...AMEX (American express), VISA and MASTERCARD (can be from whatever banks).

that's what i thought too peter.

as long as your debit card is a VISA or MASTERCARD you should be able to go through the online payment transaction.

michael, were you refused a transaction with a posbank account debit card?

you can use debit cards... but i don't knwo if they accept singapore debit cards.. my paypal account is on a canadian (North American) account that i had once when i lived there..

they do accept singapore banks' debit card.
i am a frequent user of paypal with my credit and debit cards.

Yes, you can. Just enter the 4sets of numbers on your card's surface. It's safe and transaction is instantaneous.

In certain cases, debit cards with a MasterCard or Visa logo may be accepted, just to be sure you should check with DBS

you dun really need to care whether it is a savings/currents account.
to them it is just a debit/credit card thats all.
unless u r not using the card to pay but using the bank transfer function instead... that will be a BIG NO NO

Mine's not the Go! card, it's the orange coloured MasterCard.

Orange card should be ok. I did call POSB before since I got both the Orange and Blue Go debit cards and was adviced to keep the Orange one to do my Internet transactions. I think I did use my Orange card before to pay for items on Ebay overseas and the transaction should probably be from Paypal though I can't confirm since its been a long while.

As long as your debit card is not Electronic Visa, I think there shouldn't be a problem. Mastercard is very recognised by Paypal...
