    Hi all,

Need some feedback on what criteria to rate planted tanks. This would be for members to rate other member's tanks.

    Thanks.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    Ease of maintainence
    Colour compatiblity
    Use of texture(leave shapes)
    Fish compatiblity with the scape
    Hardscape
    Effort put into the photograph

    Just some from my opinion.

Chiminology. Hmmm... it's not meant to be intimidating and not a competition, but to let member's get a gauge of their tanks aesthetics.

I'm thinking more on the aesthetics. 'Ease of maintenance' is personal preference, and not a gauge of how nice a tank looks. As in, one member might work constantly on his tank, whereas another has an easy to maintain. But at the end of the day, both have nice tanks, just one is full of colourful high maintainance plants with bright lights, and another is full of lush green plants, good hardscape using low lighting.

It's not meant to be photography contest. And not everyone has good skills or a decent enough camera.

More comments? Not just suggestions, but perhaps also your opinion of what Terence and Ken have suggested.
