    I just bought an XP3 a fortnight ago; cost SGD200, or around USD127 I think.

    Atman filters are pretty cheap, and some users here'd I think would give them a recommendation considering its price.

    Tetra AFAIK is on the expensive side. If you can afford Tetra, you'd might as well go for an Eheim.

    If your budget is around $150 to $200, two options you might want to consider for your 3 feet - same as mine - could be Rena XP3 (around $200) or Hydor Prime 30 (around $180). Since your budget is slightly less, you can get the smaller versions (XP2 and Prime 20); they're definitely within your budget, and should be suitable for a 3 feet but do check their flowrates.

    my budget includes additional media to be bought n laid inside coz from i read ,some models came with simple media.was thinking of atman cf series n tetraxp90?any reviews?cost?
    i think eheim way off my budget...
    trying to get models with 600l-800l/h flow rate.
