Crypt balansae owners: how do you grow giant?

How do you grow grow (in own experience) your crypt balansae into very large size? (as in parameters, CO2, light, fert, water hardness)

I did tried the plant before long time ago and failed miserably.

Lots of light, CO2 and time.
Plant loves good nutrients/CO2 and light.

Takes awhile to get going, but after a few months, the weed takes over.

Hmm lets see...

Now I have bright light, lots of dissolved CO2, and reasonable ferts to back up. How about water hardness issue?

Is this a genuine balansae or another kind of crispatula that wont grow big?

They grow equally well at KH of 1-2 and Gh of 2-3 as they do at KH 11, Gh 24.........

They look small and young, you just need more time and be patient, they will grow and become a massive weed later.
