Filter media question: biohome

I read about this biohome filter media and noted that it can house both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria due to it being very porous. Perfect for marine and fish only set ups.

But what about planted set ups? Will the NO3 be broken up in the filter so much that plants suffer? Anyone used this product before? Any comments?

I used it, I've not encountered any issues with it.

I am using it...so far not an issue with it...
