    Hi all

I want to do a 1 ft cube tank. Since it's going to be in my office, i need this to be rather low maintenance...

I know the above is not known for that, but i just trying to see whether it's possible to be low maintenance after looking at "23cm hillside" at the aquascaping thread.

I know HC needs high light which can solved by buying a high wattage light. But i dun intend to use CO2 nor change water often. Is that ok for HC? Does HC need trimming as well?

I think it needs co2 injection in order to it to look it's best - a lush carpet. If not, seachem excel might do the job. Without co2 it would grow ugly and vertical. It also needs mid to bright light, which means 3-5 wpg.
