I have a friend who will pass by singapore, shes asking me which of these LFS's are the best places to visit in terms of planted tank gear and plants.

    http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=13291

From what i can see in the forums is it NA ? or CL328 ??

BTW I think she can only go to 2-3 LFS's only, depending on her schedule.

    Thanks!

As much as I think C328 is a great place, it can be intimidating for someone new to the shop... It looks messy and she might not be able to find the things she want or get help...

I would suggest she visit NA for the equipment. She can then see Colourful aquarium 2 doors away for some plants.

If the plant farms at Lim Chu Kang or Pasir Ris is not possible for her to visit, she might want to take a look at Biotope or Keong Seong too...

It is not really a shopping mall. The place is like a old shopping 'place', something like a shophouse concept. She can take the MRT train to Novena Station from the Cityhall Station near Swissotel Stamford and then switch to a cab when she alights from Novena. Balestier Hill Shopping Center is very near Novena. Ask her to tell the driver Balestier Hill Shopping Center, opposite Thompson Medical Center. She should be able to see 'Nature Aquarium' when she is there.

Do note the opening hours and it is best to call to confirm if she is going there towards the end of the opening hours.

It's not a real mall. Just a small, unsophisticated and rather small town center.

Tell us her shopping list, and we can suggest the best places to try. Like most cities, LFSes here tend to be a little bit less conveniently located. If you can tell us where she'll be staying, even better.

As for plants, it's not easy for the LFSes to stock some of the more delicate plants. So if she is looking for any specific plants, better to state it here, and if possible someone might help her order first, or at least point out which shop might have it.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

No worries... Anyway, it is Justikanz, not Justin.

Yes, Swissotel Stamford is right smack in the Central area.
