    I don't think it would become like this without injected CO2.
    But who knows? Anyway tip - invest in cooling. E.g. fan.

    There is no secret. Time is the secret. Given enough time, the HC that is rooted would spread.

    Ok, maybe this might be the clue.

    I fertilized with Aquatilizer once a week with water change, and added root tabs once in a very long while.

    And don't buy emmersed HC because they melt?

    I have no idea! There is no secret.
