fl are the normal 2' or 4' tubes we see.

pl are those very slim double tubes which are bent back.
frequently used in table lamps nowadays.

For PL lights, check out this site http://www.ahsupply.com
However the more commonly used ones here are 36W PL.

PL Tubes are not really that common. You can get them at Electrical shops along Kelantan Rd. or you can drop by NA Nature Aquarium. They do carry some of tubes.
    Cheers!!

PL suppose to be brighter then FL, but also warmer. It's preferred by many for planted tanks cos you can have more Watts in the same amount of space.

Can't remember what PL stands for (Power Lights?), but it is also known as CF (compact fluorescent) or PC (power compact) lights in some websites. FL is good old Fluorescent Lights.

Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
