Amazing! Must have been an excruciating task to ensure this nice sloping height.
Studying the water chemistry and nutrients is a science.
Knowing what plants to get and how to use them is an art.
Aquascaping is a marriage of art and science, the logical and emotional.

Impressive indeed!!! By the way, what's the purpose of the plants floating on the surface of the water at the top left corner of the tank?

I miss my toninas! Grows like a weed in ADA substrate in my previous setup.

    Welcome
    Interesting set-up you got there.
Care to share your water parameters?

Nice tank! Like a forest for the fishes.

Can share how you maintain the tonina when they grow taller? Cut off and re-plant?

    hi Iwm999,
yeah, once they grow taller, the top will split into 2 or 3 bunches. Cut off and 1 can become 2-3.

    Hi soulfinder78,
No, i never hav this prob before. In fact the bottom also won't turn yellow. This perhaps due to the good base fert support frm Dennerle and also 4WPG of lights i hav in the tank.

    hi soulfinder78,
I never user ADA soil b4, so i not sure how good it is. But i thing i am sure is Dennerle Depomix 200 is suitable for planting Tonina. Sometimes i dun even use any liquid fertiliser. 5wpg i personal feel is bit too much and this might attract algua too.

That's my difficulty in maintaining the plant. Quite a lot of re-planting work

For those in the middle of the bunch, that will be quite messy to maintain, right?
