    Hi to all

Went to a fish shop recently to ask for black silicone tank but the owner says they dun sell cos received few complaints that black silicon dun last as well as the normal ones.

Would like to know how true is this? anyone care to tell me?

    Thanks

    lol
i can only imagine that the local version of black silicone must not be too lasting
my bioplast tank is holding together perfectly fine
    imported tanks should be fine
anyway, the one that happy has has been there for a very very long time (since i was young) and it's in good shape, so black silicone should be fine

How come the local version less lasting compared to the imported ones???

How much more am I expect to pay for a black silicone 2ft tank compared to the normal ones??
    Any good place to recommend?

soon heng seems to be a good bet, but i think it's quite expensive
bioplast has reasonable tanks, but they take forever to come, due to transport issues
but they have very good tanks
i waited like 3 months for my 70x60x60 tank
