i was using a small hose as a siphon tube to transfer water from the pail into the tank
was getting impatient at the too slow water transfer speed and decided to give it a boost by putting the pail on even higher ground (it was on a tall stool)
conveniently the place happened to be on top of the old CRT-style TV (just enough space)
why the hell did i even consider doing that?
i then adjusted the tubing and gave an accidental tug on it, causing the whole pail of water to come crashing down onto my TV and the extension plug near it
i heard a loud "boom" sound and the whole house went lights out.

needless to say, the tv and the extension plug went out of commission

now you know how my house's LCD tv came along

i can understand if small shrimps and tetras / boraras got sucked into the filter
but an apisto??? and still alive after 3 months???
yes... i'm surprised too.. i wonder how did it end up in the canister but still can survive for 3 months...
