terence you're not alone, i like the driftwood too. Really branchy for such a small wood. I'm trying to get something like that too for my small tank
i like the overall arrangement! nice![]()
The Happiest of people don't neccessary have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way
When will there be 25 letters in the alphabets?
kemp: You can get small branchy dirftwoods at Biotope and arrange them to your liking.
Call me Brian.
P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.
Looks good! Substrate seems a tad thin though. Keep us posted on the progress of the tank!![]()

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Here are some updated photos with the tank relocated to my office:
Please let me know what you think!

Looking good, Brandon. Did the stand came with the tank?
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.
Hehe.. No, that's a custom stand I made myself using 12mm MDF wood and water based paint![]()
Ah...I see the makings of a carpenter. Just joking, but great job with the stand.

Hi,
What kind of gravel are you using? Seachem Onyx?

Yes that Seachem Onyx about 3cm layer slope![]()
very nice tank. i had try searching for small DW like your's but seems like all are big. any advise on where to find them?
The DW you see is from a big piece cut up then joined together using thin fishing line. Its not hard to do, just takes a bit of patience tying the pieces bit by bit. Just make sure you soak and boil the pieces a good few times so it doesnt soak tannins.
Small Update - 09/10
Tank is stable - No signs of Algae.
Added some Rasboras
Enjoy and please feel free to comment thanks.
Cheers,
Brandon.
