Guys, are you sure those white dots are nerite's eggs?
I suspect not, because I think they can move, if you observe, in several days, those dots won't be in the same place.
I find those dots on the snail's shell too...

Maybe nerite's snail is slightly different, because I notice other kind of white dots (bigger & more round in shape), they stick on the glass, maybe those are the eggs, but not the ones in the bossteck's pic.

    Trust me, they are.
I actually witness the egg laying process last time, one of my snail laid eggs on the tube of my surface skimmer (which I am not using anymore). The dots don't move. I will try to dig out my skimmer and take a photo of it later tonight.

The eggs never hatches and impossible to remove from driftwood. Even on glass it took me so much strength to remove.

urgh.. i have the same problem! But mine seem to disappear after a few months. Staying away from large snails now. The damn things cause the kH to increase when they die. Malayan Trumpet Snails (MTS) all the way!

    my experience with snails...

ramshorn snails & Malayan trumpet snails (MTS): they multiply very fast and soon you will curse at them

i have to rescape my tank once because of that... and i have learnt my lesson... now only put horned snails inside

I think as long as you watch the amount of food you feed, the population for ramshorn and MTS can be kept at a manageable level.

Yes, the babies of smaller snails are also food for loaches and shrimp. Note: BABIES.

WOAH!! That's excessive even by my standards! Either way, i'm sure our ecosystems are almost identical, perhaps a trip down to a rocky part of the beach or mangrove will get you some nerites?

Those on the beach with the pointy shells won't survive, but the ones in magroves with the smoothe brown shells with rows of lines can survive in fresh water and will eat algae like cows.
