You might want to go for 4 tubes set for your tank size....

So far AquaMarin at Jln Kayu is the only lfs who carries solite light sets....do give them a call, they might not have stock in place...

What is a good deal to you?
What are you looking out for in a T5 over a PL?
You want individual reflectors or okay with one whole sheet of reflectors?

If you have low budget, go for either NA's DIY where reflectors are just a single metallic sheet or Dymax.

budget is not a probem, efficeincy and reliablity must be there.. so i think individual reflectors are better..

i am currently usiing pl and fl combination and there are blind spot at both sides so thiniking to chnage to t5 which stretchhes all the way.

anyway is there any other gd brands and roughly the cost??

ATI lightset with ATI bulbs. A good combination if budget is not a problem. Get the one with the dimmable ballast.

i am gonna get a 5x2x2 feet tank. i have various options for lighting. should i hang a few 2ft, 4 tube solites from the ceiling or get the 2 tube 5ft set? which is 1 2ft and 1 3ft tube to make up the 5 feet length?

or should i just go for the MH light instead? if so, how many bulbs and what wattage? the plan is to keep lotus, and some stem plants and it will be a high maintainance tank.
