Last 2 days ago brought a packet of cherries which consist of 9 pregnant females & 2 males & yesterday brought a packet of bee shrimps around total of 9 numbers.. Today just find out I have 2 dead bee shrimps..why is it bee shrimps are diffcult to kept? My tank temperature around 26.5 to 27 degress. How would I able to keep crs in the future if I can't even take care of bee shrimp..anyone can help me..

well, i bought a packet of 10 bee shrimps the other day as well, and also 5 very young crs.
to date, my crs are doing fine but my bee shrimps are nowhere to be found except 1....
heard that bee shrimps are more sensitive creatures than crs, seems true, so fret not, unsuccessful in bees does not equate to same for crs.
Personally finds that bee shrimps are best kept with low temperature water.
They do better in cool water and are very sensitive. Have better luck in keeping crs over bee shrimp.
How are your cherry shrimps doing?

Sigh..so sad.. My cherries are fine no casuatly at the moment. Not sure whether would like to try crs..

i put quite number of mineral rocks in filter to remove ammonia, 50% planted.
Are able to keep 90% of bee shrimps alived.

I have tiger shrimps and cherries in the same tank, no problem, but my bees are gone too. If I had to make a choice between bee and tiger shrimps, since they are about the same pricing, I go for the tigers as their colour contrast can be matured very quickly.
Bought 10 bee shrimp 10 crs and 10 cherry shrimp around 4 month ago.. Now left with 0 bee shrimp 9 crs and 1 cherry shrimp...

crs and bee shrimps should trive in similar water conditions.
just get that temperature to be below 27 and 0 nitrite, nitrate and ammonia and should be good to go.
heavily planted tank should be good as well as plants can absorb nitrates /nitrites

Mine is a heavy planted tank but 2 days has passed & 4 bee shrimps gone to heaven.. left 5 but I can't get to locate them as well. Wonder should I try crs, any comments? My tank temperature range from 26 to 27 degrees..

your tank seems matured enough. You can try to monitor the shrimps for a few more days to see how they are doing. Hopefully they will have acclimatised to their new surroundings after a couple of days.

Now that i have read this thread, i realised that my bees are gone due to similiar circumstances.
my cherries are healthy and producing offsprings, low grade CRS down 1 or 2 but no offsprings (suspected all males

keeping them survive is one thing, would say maintaining their color is not easy. aquascaping, try to maintain the water quality.

crs should be more hardy than bees. just bought tiger & bee shrimps yesterday, after a few minutes i put them into my tank, i could only locate 3 bee shrimps out of 10...

oh yes, spotted total 5 bee shrimps after 1 hour of observation... the other 5 nowhere in sight. they are hiding alright, unlike cherries which is everywhere. seemed like the bees are very shy fellows, didnt venture far from their ground nor come out to open ground. bees are not really sociable compare to tiger & cherries arent they? tigers even ride & pick on yamato back for algae. the weather has been cold yesterday and my tank temperature dropped to 24 degrees. understand that bees need cold water to thrive? dont know how long they can survive if the weather turns warmer.

Your temperature of 24C (celcius) is just right for bee shrimps. Internet infomation said bee shrimps thrive best in the range of 21-25C. Try to maintain the temperature as long as possible.
