    Excel owns BBA. But against BGA it seems powerless. haha. At least for my case.

    I dropped 5 drops of Excel on a patch of BGA growing on the floating plants of my non-co2 tub. 2 days later, all BGA gone.

    Excel is a sterilising agent, and that's supposed to kill bacteria.

    Your plants are floating, maybe the Excel was able to be in contact with the BGA in concentrated form for a longer time, thus killing them. I tried it on the gravel line and Excel seems to defuse into the water coloumn quickly upon injection, perhaps too quickly to kill BGA.

    Sorry to OT abit... may i know where did u get the wooden rack from? is it a normal cabinet or specially for tank? I'm still lookng for an inexpensive wooden rack t place my 1.5ft tank... currently on a Ikea coffee table... i don't know how long it can stand before it crashes down

    That stand was DIYed from wooden planks bought at Ikea. Done by my father
