Hi all, just setup 2ft tank last week, yesterday I measure the ph and it was 4.7

    Tank spec:
    Size: 2ft x 1ft x 1.2ft ~ 14G(US)
    Lighting: 36W 6hrs/day
Flora: Blyxa Japonica, Taiwan moss on DW, Bacopa caroliniana, Salvinia Natans, Vallisneria americana, Japanese hair grass
    Fauna: not yet
    Substrate: ADA Aquasoil Africana
    CO2: not yet

    Is it normal?
Does ADA Aquasoil causing ph to drop that low?
    Will my plants survive?
    Any recomendation?

Yes... ADA soil does. Plus you have DW which will also release tannin acid... Pushing the pH even lower...
    Just do a water change.

initial stage of afa soil is low PH.
    it takes a while.
if you are worry, use some coral chips.
just a handful of coral chips will do the trick.
once stablised, you may remove the coral chips.
