Need advise..

Just got KNO3 & KH2PO4..My tank is a 2ft tank.

How should I dose these ferts & how much ferts to dose?
& does overdose lead to algae?

20-40 Gallon Aquariums
+/- ¼ tsp KN03 3x a week
+/- 1/16 tsp KH2P04 3x a week

40-60 Gallon Aquariums
+/- 1/2 tsp KN03 3x a week

Wow that was a very late reply! But never or less thanks tcampbell & squee for the info..By the way, it said that by every end of the week we should do a 50% water change but currently I doing a non co2 method(Tom Barr method) & do I stilll need to do water change.. Quite confuse over these things..
