NA offers reasonable price & you can call & check with Mr. Chan on all the parts required. However, you'll need to pay him a visit to get the pricing. Quite a standard trade practice.

will it be cheaper if i get it from industrial areas?

if you get it from NA, you could actually ask Mr Chan to help fixed up everything. Bring back home, it's practically plug and play. Nice service he got there!
Fatherhood - The most challenging role a man can take on but, funnily enough, the most fulfilling too.

You may be able to get one at resonable price in this forum
What size are you searching ( how many litre bottle )?

does the brand of the solenoid/regulator play a part in the lifespan of the product?
Depending on long term plan, like whether you would like to do one-to-one exchange with LFS when CO2 runs out, i would recommend you to get the silver top and black bottom type. Most of LFS only allow this sort of cannister for exchange. On the other hand, if you intends to top up on the spot at the industrial area or LFS you are familiar, you can use whatever cannister you desire.
There are only a few brands in the market here. The common brand hobbyists use is JBJ, and mine has been 4 years with no problem. You may consider.

U can get from NA. Else if $ is issue, u can get from the Bro and Sis here from the classified at good price.
Regulator and Soleniod functionality is the same except the the latter offers on and off function automatically, which helps to cut down on the inconvenience. Thus more XXX (worth it!)
I got JBJ soleniod. So far so good.
u can get a new co2 tank brand new one next to NA.. called colourful aquarium.. is much cheaper than NA.. i bought a new tank from them after getting both quotation price on the 2litre tank..
for whether to use regulator or solenoid, it got to depend on yourself..
ask yourself whether u wan to use it for long term or short term? or wan to on the co2 for 24hrs or a certain period of time?
solenoid are used together with timer to on and off the co2 tank according to the time u wish to set and is very accurate. normal regulator must manually adjusted and sometimes not so accurate. solenoid can get ard taiwan brand or german brand. taiwan brand around $80 and for german brand around $130. manual regulator costs around $20.

usually ppl on co2 24hrs/on timer?
You could check out my Co2 prices on the Advertisers Thread.![]()
