Recently I just tear down a planted tank and decided to use that tank for keeping fishes instead. The base fert are still visible in the gravel which is 4" deep. What will happen to those base fert? Will they dissolve over time? Is it dangerous should my fish accidentally "eats" them? Should I remove the gravel altogether instead?

The fert may leach into your water and cause more algae problems then usual.

You could wash the gravel. Go to a supermarket and get a flour sift. Use it to wash your gravel and collect the base fert to throw away. Don't wash the fert into the drain.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
