    Well, got this from thekrib.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
It is no secret! We tell it in the declaration on the bottle
    (K 0.79%, Mg 0.39%, S 1.01%, B 0.004%, Cu 0.006%, Fe 0.07%,
Mn 0.04%, Mo 0.002% Zn 0.002%. HEEDTA and DTPA as celators).
We have the idea: "aquarium owners have the right to know what
    they put into their aquarium"!

    try chelate or ligand

  5. #5
Chelate- A chemical compound in the form of a heterocyclic ring, containing a metal ion attached by coordinate bonds to at least two nonmetal ions.

Ligand- An ion, a molecule, or a molecular group that binds to another chemical entity to form a larger complex.

So what does it mean? Forming an "artificial" compound which does not exist in nature? []

    lol
no no, think of this in simple terms ok?
imagine the metal ion in free solution, very vulnerable to attack by oxidising agents right? which isn't a very desirable thing rite? so what happens is they get these chelates to bond to the metal so they can stabilise it
    simple as that, nothing more
