Hi any photo to show of the workshop from those who attended?
Haven't have the time to process them this weekend... Will post them up once I find the time...
Setting up a vivarium can be done in less than 30mins as demonstrated by Wild Ginger...
Though I was so busy I did not check AQ for almost a week, I managed to set up a terrarium ala Wild Giner style in less than 30 minutes over a weekend!Aparently, it is buying and finding all the things needed that will take up your time.

Hi Valice
How is the photos coming?
My space allocation in AQ's gallery maxed out... So got to wait till it is increase then I can post...
Very sorry about it guys...![]()
Think they know... Just waiting for the time I guess...
Valice should be getting LOTs of gallery space soon.
* Nudge Benny *... oi!
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Any update on the photos?
ohii.....wait very long already...lei..........haa ha ha
Hey valice..where're the pics....![]()
...I love rubies too ...
Ken
Well sorry for the wait guys... Took awhile for my gallery space to increase in size. And here are some of the photos finally.
Was late for the workshop, so only managed to take a few shots.
First up. interesting substrate used for layer the bottom of the 1st vivarium. Primary purpose was to absorb excess moisture. Forgot what's the correct term for it. Justikanz or Wild Ginger, can clarify?
And here's a picture of the 1st tank completed during the workshop. It is a purely land-based tank.
Attentive attendee observing Wild Ginger setting up the second tank. Medium sized pebbles were selected as the foreground and a large stone as the main power of attention was used in the design. A small pump can be used to circulate water and could be placed at a corner of the tank.
Tree bark is used as a background.
Some interesting vines used as materials. Seldom seen.
Very fibrous vine. Needing two persons to break the vine into size.
Putting in the plants. (Not sure what are the plants used.)
Soon to be completed tank.
And finally, the completed 2nd tank. Water can be added to cover till a certain depth. This design is slightly different in style IMO as other vivariums we see. Still thinking what fauna can be introduced into the tank without the plants being decimated.
It is a pity I was late and not able to capture more photos for you guys. Sorry about that.
Hope Wild Ginger will organise another workshop for the members.

Vincent, the material in the picture is vermiculite.
