hi choy
it looks more like a lepidocephalus than a pangio, i have some guntea with a very similar body shape.
cheers

found near Mersing, 3.5cm SL, beautiful orangey head. Looks like one of the Pangio based on the dorsal fin shape?

turns out to be Lepidocephalichthys tomaculum, rather uncommon.

Interesting looking specimen! Fresh from Saturday's romp?
