I've just stumbled across this site and it looked so interesting I decided to stop and join. I have spotted one or two names I recognise from Aquatic Photography Forum, so I know I will find well-informed discussions here.
I've been keeping fish for over 40 years, with a few breaks. I teach Chemistry at a college north of Manchester and I also teach fishkeeping to some of our Animal Care students for a few hours each week. We have a small fish room and although most of our fishes are fairly common species, we also have one or two more unusual types, such as our dwarf puffers, Carinotetraodon travancoricus, which are the offspring of our original pair.

I think I'm going to learn a lot here.

    Hi Alan!!

Good to see you here! I think Eric (Ibn) drops by here once in a while. Hope to see more of your posts here. I think we all can learn a lot from you!

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
