Co2 Cylinder for planted tank

Hey guys,

Wondering in the market.. which is the smallest Co2 cylinder available. And oso how much?? Apart from that?? What else must i get to regulate the speed and oso.. is there any other accessories need to get along as well?? Thanks alot!!!

Hi... I got my 1.5L from C328. Sorry can't remember the price, it was a while back.

Not sure if there is any smaller one.

But my 1.5L which is running at 1-2 bubble/sec in my 2ft tank lasted about 3mth or so. Bigger tank can last longer with the same bubble rate.

Go to nature aquarium, tell Chan which is the Boss of the shop that you want a small Co2 set which should inculdes the following:

@Co2 tank
@solenoid Wif regulator.
@bubble counter
@check valve

And of cos get some tubings.

Sorry to ask, but roughly how much the whole system will be?? Do u have his no.?

Basically this is what you need :

1. CO2 tank (size varies)
2. solenoid with regulator
3. bubble counter
4. 1-way valve (to prevent CO2 backflow)
5. diffuser/reactor

Hi I got basically what was listed in the previou post from Nature, but with a large cylinder for I think $240. Chan also threw in a reactor worth about 12 bucks

small and sleek, should be juz nice for ur 1 ft..

I have just got a 5 litre c02 tank from Chan. Price at $160 includes manual regulator and other accessories.

Thanks Simon. I wanna to try out planting 1st before investing more $$$. Mr Chan say it will cost $130 for a Solenoid type. I will upgrade it once my wife approves it in the next financial Year. hee hee[]
