    Hi all, has anyone has these

    - Anubias barteri var. nana 'Marble'
    - Anubias barteri var nana 'Stardust'

    Would like to know if it easy to grow and where can i find it. thanks
    Only saw them on the website. have not seen it real.

    I have previously had some Anabias barteri var. 'marble'. Didn't give them any special care over the regular species and they were fine for quite a while. However, I recall that over a long period of time, the new leaves were not as "marbled" as before. Perhaps this might be something you want to take note off.

    By the way, got my specimen from Lim Chu Kang plant farms.

    Thanks. I use to have one Anubias 'marble' not all leave will be marbled. but most will.

    I m wondering where i can find these 2 Anubias

    i had the marbled version for a while.. think i sold it already. 'Stardust' is sooooo hard to comeby... even if you do, it's going to be quite $$$

    I was at Oriental aquarium a few weeks back and they said both varieties are unstable and they don't produce them anymore.

    Unstable as in? Difficult to cultivate, or they lose some traits after growing for some time?

    The variation most likely could be due to some mutation of the genes? And they couldn't really reproduce the mutation consistently I guess.

    Last year, I ordered my star dust from JZX. May order more but they are extremely hard to come by.

    My stardust don;t seems to be growing well. There are patches of brown on it and it grows very very slow..
