    Anybody knows step by step instruction on how to convert PL light to T5?
    Or any such thread

Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted! ), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted! ), C.tonkinensis(Melted! ), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii

    Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...

    I don't think it's a cost effective exercise. Hence the lack of effort to try.

    nowadays, light sets are much cheaper than what it used to be. even diy lights does not save you much (if any) money. however, you do get the satisfaction.
    so why not just buy a t5 light set.

    If your e-ballast and light's casing can support the T5 tube, i think just get the end-cap,tube's holder & light's reflector.

    By the way, i dont know how much it will cost

    I also think getting a complete set may be more worth it
