I've never seen plants affected like this by colder weather. Usually plants do better when the weather and the waters are cooler.

    Hi,

Does your tank usually get some sunlight normally?

agree with vinz ... most plants adore the lower temperatures ... if its anything wrong, its not the temperature

I'd suspect like what bossteck said. Your tank might be enjoying lots of sunlight and now cloudy days struct suddenly everything rots from the substrate up (a symptom of not enough light reaching the lower level).

How long is exactly till rescently? some plants may endure a week or two until they completely give up.

Usually slightly lower temperature is always good for plants. Some people even try very hard the expensive way just to lower their tank to 24C.

Dun know why this is happenning. This happens about 1.5 to 2 weeks ago which in line with the cold weather. Thus attribute to the weather.........

All your plants? Or only certain species? What plants are being affected? Did you introduce any other new things to the tank? Like new fertilisers, plants, or driftwood?

    Hi,

This is indeed strange. May I know what substrate/base fert are you using?

This sounds just like cursed substrate that I tried long ago. The darn thing would turn anaerobic in a tick. God knows what else the substrate might contain...
Almost every plant I tried die within two weeks or so. The longest they survive is on the initial tank setup (not anaerobic yet).

I switched the substrate with plain silica and the problem is totally gone.
