Hello bros and sis, is it true that angel fishes will eat up the smaller tetras as snacks? My dad has five angelfishes in his 8ft tank and all his tetras are still there leh. hahaha, mine is a 3ft though.

they are really beautiful and i feel like having them in my tank leh, how ah?

    thanks in advance!

Depends on what the tetras are. Neon tetras, cardinal tetras and others which are not big enough are likely to become snacks as the angelfishes grow larger.
Others like bleeding heart tetras, lemon tetras are too big to be eaten.

I think tank size doesn't really mater a lot, but a small tank will definitely mean that there is more aggression from your angelfishes. So you'll have to look at the size of your tank.

Tank size can play a part in the survival of the smaller fishes. So does plant density. Large tanks, like your dad's 8ft tank, means that the tetras can keep a safe distant from the angelfishes. If you observe your dad's tank, you'll probably find that the tetras often school far from the angelfishes.

Large fishes have a harder time going through plants. Smaller fishes can easily escape the larger ones by darting into the spaces between stems and leaves.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

haha, yea! whenever you see an angelfish, you will find the other smaller ones all on the other side of the tank!
