like always, too much ideas, not enough skill to perform . bought cockbark from NA and even got 2 ADA driftwood. but in the end, I didn't do enough planning on how to get the individual airlining to run through the tank. Such a disappointment, but my mom is pleased with the tanks and she kind of slip her tongue to suggest another tank

I had greater things in mind, but it end up not coming true. but first updates in my first tank. I added a 12v dc fan for the phrags

Wow i like this, still got my favourite VFT. Good good... got potential when the tank matures. Hope to see the VFT doing well. I tried growing them with tilly (airplants) but they're both from different worlds. One like it moist and cool the other like dry and cool..

No feeding is required for the VFT actually. With the good soil we use most of the nutrients should be provided.

There are gaps around the cover, hot air raises. Which platform you referring to? my filter is always tug into the corner. But maintenance of my 2nd tank might be a hassle as I buried it . Initally, there was some driftwood with moss and water flowing on it, but it didn't come true. Have to learn from phillipe

Hi Simon i refer to the raise land. How you do it?
Seen like you use some thing to form the land. Not refering to the soil.

oh, bottom layer is clay pellet, followed by spagnum moss then perlite (those white gravel). I believe there are many ways to form the platform/slope. like create a platform from pvc pipes, if you choose it reduce the media used. I supposed an elevated platform with perforated sheet to remove water can be applied as well, followed by a media of your choice

Simon, without a pump or filter in your tank, wouldn't the water become stagnant? Will really need some fishes, else mosquitoes...
