    hihi,

any idea where can I get the cloth netting for tieing riccia? I am using the garlic bag but very difficult to wrap because of the elastic property.... or can I use those laundry bag to cut? will cloth material attract more algae than others?

    thanks!

I wouldn't recommend using natural fibres with riccia, it starts to decompose and riccia should be tied permanently as it won't attach. Laundry bag should work, a hairnet should work too.

dun need to crack ur brain. Go to the nearest LFS and ask for the green netting that comes with cheap cost. it comes with different size e.g 1ft X 1ft, 1ft X 2ft etc. y618, c328 got sell. no point getting garlic netting as elasticity is strong. green netting is good for riccia as it got some limited stretching abilities.

y618 - somewhere near the cashier or where they put the sale of different shrimps.
c328 - near to the entrance of the shop

    hope it helps

i've bought the green netting from c328 recently for tying my riccia. but the green netting has a slicky feel and a plastic smell. after soaking it few times in water, i still see a thin film of oil-like substance on the water surface. does this affect my shrimps in my tank?
