    can anybody advise how to get rid of hair algae? it's sticking out from my tank wall. i tried manually scrubing them off but it grows back again.

    Increase CO2 & focus on getting the plant to growing well. Otherwise the hair algae will keep on haunting you. Existing algae need to be manually remove. Search in the forum for details. Lots of discussions in AQ on this topic. Good luck.

    is there any fish that eats hair algae and doesn't eat shrimps and shrimplets?
