Help: Pink StarLite bromeliad losing color

I bought a nice brightly colored Pink StarLite bromeliad a week ago and place it in my paludarium with high humidity and moderate lighting (2x39W T5). However, now it has gradually lost its red/pink coloration and turning green/whitish.

Anyone with experience on how to keep this plant well with good coloration? Here is a picture downloaded from google on Pink StarLite:

I believe that your lighting is not enough, how many hour you have on your lighting. If i am right you need about 12hr.

They need very high lighting to stay compact, even with my 3 x 36watts PL isn't sufficient. Try moving up towards the light source.

They can even withstand direct sunlight without much burning. They'll start to grow leggy if there isn't sufficient lighting.

Benetay - you are right, my StarLite was pretty compact when bought, but has grown taller now, likely due to lack of light. I have moved it higher towards the lights, hope it will do better.
