Noticed this yesterday that some of the leaves in Glosso is turning yellow and withering off. Would this be a deficiency of Nitrogen?

    My fertilizer regime:
Seachem Flourish - Daily (close to 20 ml)
Seachem Trace - Alternate Days (~20ml)
Seachem Iron - Alternate days (~10ml)
    Brighty K - Daily

Please advise, whats going wrong here?

    Cheers
    Bhargav

How old are the glosso ever since you planted them?

If only rescently and the yellow ones are the initial leaves, I think it is because of the initial emmersed form of leaves which dies out quickly in water. Otherwise I think it is a sign of nitrogen deficiency since none of your fert line seems to contain any nitrogen. I also notice you have no source of additional P other than from you fish poop.

Get some KNO3 and KH2PO4. Should be very cheap to use.

Thanks, the glosso's are a month old in my tank. They are still spreading across my tank, only in patches they are turning yellow. Off to NA now to buy some KNO3 and KH2PO4.

Check on your CO2 too. It should be the first suspect followed by circulation and finally nutrients.

Temperature is 26C and the lights are T5 HO (156W) for 12 hrs. Glosso's are still growing (spreading across the tank) but in patches the leaves are turning yellow.

Yes, the problem is solved. Actually I did not add any supplement nitrogen. Regular (excess feeding) solved the problem. My feeding routine is back to normal now. Thanks for asking.
