    Agree... Female's dorsal wouldn't be so high...
    I believe it is the one of the few species whose ventral fin is black also...

    I like the frontal confrontation picture! So very typical of dwarf cichlid behaviour.

    Oh...I also think that it's a mail. Female specimens doe have have an extended front dorsal rays.

    Thanks for the correction guys. Suspected so because of the reddness in the finnage colouration it showed when flaring. Especially the tail. I'll introduce a female to see how it goes then.
